A true throwback to those hippie days of the late 60s and early 70s, this boho handbag comes with all the bells and whistles: its outside edges are trimmed with 3 rows of antiqued lace trims in grungy beige and faded bluish gray; the lower front is decorated with an upcycled rose print applique; another similar rose print is used for the lined patch pocket on its back.
Vintage décor gimp in red frames the rose picture on front, and a pink décor gimp sets off another row of antiqued lace trim on the front flap; more vintage lace trim finishes the upper edges front and back, and all of this on a décor weight fabric base: red and green for the front, green and gold for the back.
For the ultimate in hippie glamor, a brooch featuring vintage laces in off-white, pink and dusty rose, a bit of white tulle netting, 3 metal forget-me-not beads and a vintage daisy button, as well as an upcycled rhinestone earring dangle complete the look.
Brooch can be removed and worn separately if desired.
The long shoulder strap in burnt orange is made from an upcycled home décor fabric.
Bag and flap are lined with a cotton print featuring variously sized random stars in light beige on a plum-colored background.
One inside pocket measuring 6.5" wide x 7" deep; outside back pocket is 6" wide x 6.5" deep.
Bag measures 12" high and 11.5" wide. Shoulder strap is 41" end to end, for a nice long drop.
